The app of the week honors is a bit different this week. Usually we like to feature solid apps with a strong following or an app that was developed by one of our own members. However, this week we are featuring an app that is still in beta almost. The honors go to “Youtube Download 2″ by Fireworks Studios which is available for the Wave and Wave II.

This app is still in its early stages but with further updates, this app could be very useful. There are already tons of youtube video downloaders for iPhone, Android, Windows Phone, and even PC and Mac. With Youtube Download 2 bada finally gets into the act and it is a solid first try. Basically, all you so is take the video URL from youtube and paste it into the dedicated box and then create a file name for it. Once you have done that, select the quality you want the video to be and now you are done. Just let it download and then enjoy!

With the version only being 1.0.0, you can expect a few bugs but since the app is so handy, I expect the app to be updated regularly.

In its current state, badaforums would rate it at 3 out 5 stars simply because the features are limited and there are still bugs. It is worth a download though since it is free. If you dont like it, simply delete it.
