This popular hockey game for Android users is now available to all Bada users!!

There are several new apps being added on Samsung Apps constantly and the sports gaming section gets more impressive by the day. Not necessarily new to Apps but a game I’ve only just discovered is Hockey Nations Shoot Out, the free alternative to the premium Hockey Nations 2010.

Hockey Nations Shoot Out is a typical shoot-out affair where you try to beat the goalie and score. Not sure how to play? The tutorial (shown to the right, click for bigger picture) is pretty straight-forward and the controls are similar to that of similar sports games and are quite easy to use. There’s an on-screen direction pad on the left as well as ‘shoot’ and ‘sprint’ buttons on the right.

Other than the cardboard-like graphics representing the crowd, the game looks fantastic with awesome camera angles to boot. Believe me when I say that the Super AMOLED screen makes a huge difference in the visual appeal of games on the Wave. As for the gameplay itself, it is very tough to score which is how it should be right? The flow of the game is very smooth and will make for a great hockey game to pass the time!
