SPB Mobile Shell 5.0 coming to Bada!

SPB Software, makers of the award winning user interface “SPB Mobile Shell” has announced it will be making the mobile shell for Bada as well. Currently, SPB Mobile Shell is available for Windows phone, Symbian, Android, and soon to be Bada and Meego in version 5.0.

SPB Shell basically replaces your phone’s default user interface with a customizable “shell.” Version 5.0 takes the SPB Mobile Shell to a whole new level as it brings a new 3D engine, support for 3D widgets, and 3D applications for viewing photos, playing media, and viewing weather forecasts. It also features integration with social networks including Twitter, Facebook, and LinkedIn. The design of the shell is absolutely beautiful. It is very polished, smooth, and very easy to use.

“Users have been demanding a user interface that looks good and feels natural, while carriers have been trying to find a uniform solution across multiple platforms to help address fragmentation issues and provide a unified experience for their customers,” said SPB CEO Sebastian-Justus Schmidt. “SPB Mobile Shell 5.0 satisfies these issues by making the best multi-platform UI available to carriers and OEMs that can be easily personalized.”

The software is a bit pricey at 29.99 (at least that is the normal cost for other versions) but they do give you a full featured free trial that lasts 30 days. In my opinion, the mobile shell is totally worth it if you want to make life easier when browsing your phone or to just add some functionality. SPB Mobile Shell 5.0 has not yet been released for Bada or any platform yet but it will be coming soon.
