Bada OS 1.2 Leaked for Wave S8500

Samsung announced the Wave II yesterday and that it comes with a new version of the bada OS (version 1.2). The new firmware has now leaked for its predecessor, the original Wave S8500.

Software version S8500XXJID, or bada OS 1.2, brings T9 with Trace (Swype for bada), and a new USB icon. The brower and the whole OS is also told to be performing better

The firmware can be found at SamsungFirmwareWorld where a forums poster put the link up. Note: you have to be a member of the forum to download. Also, the firmware is meant for European Waves only so you might want to tread with caution before you flash your Wave.
