[PORT] Porting of Android 2.3 on S8500 & S8530 Wave[PORT]

Nothing came of it I'm afraid. He's not a developer and the others I messaged simply ignored me or didn't notice.

I've given up for a few days and will come back to it. Going to look for a linux developer this time.

Porting is a waste of time. If you guys are aware porting on iPhone was also a failure. Though the OS was ported many crucial features where anything but working. And Wave porting is lighyears away. When BADA itself is taking so long to develop under samsung`s corporate muscle what can developers do with minimal funding and resources.
Face it you`ve bought a Good phone with Bad OS live with it or exchange it.

I'm pretty much 90% certain this port will never work, but I'm still trying to get it put through, because it is possible. The only reason the port has stalled is due to the modem and I'm going to look for a dev to help with that. The other devs are busy, but could quite easily get it to a usable point after the modem. If not everything works, who cares, I can switch between Bada and Android and I have a more interesting phone.

I'm doing this easily as much for mods as I am for apps.

Guys, irrespective whether or not this port is successful, i think we should encourage the people who are trying for it. if they succeed we all will benefit, if they do not it won't harm us.

Update your post adi ... Well Oleg wanted to test and debug live in the S8530 he was asking for someone to give him the device ..and now someone named smax87 has given Oleg the device ..and now lets see what happens

As promised I finished the video driver. Everything is displayed correctly, colors are shown correct. Background lighting is working now, too. Tomorrow i will post photos.
