USB Always Connected Problem!!!!! *HELP*

My S8500 has a problem. It seems to think that the phone is connected to USB! I can assure you that it is not! I have no idea what to do... and yea I have tried restarting, taking out the battery and i want to fix it myself so no Samsung Service Center.

Please help.

Clean usb port it will solve ur problem

how to clean? i tried blowing into it but that didn't solve my problem

Use a cotton swab and apply a small amount of rubbing alcohol or something similar on the tip. Then gently clean the USB port. It will remove dirt and dust that might be causing the USB port to malfunction. This should help, it's what I did when I had a similar problem.

Connect your phone to PC via USB and then disconnect the cable from phone and not the USB port. Should help!!

It could be. What happens when connect & disconnect from PC? What happens when connect it to the charger?
