Wave keeps remounting when I eject on Mac

Hey guys,
I'm having an annoying problem with my Wave at the moment.
When I choose mass storage when I connect it to my Mac, it mounts fine.
When I eject it though, it'll keep remounting on my desktop.

Anyone have any suggestions how to solve this?
Disconnecting without safely ejecting is a little unnerving for me, since I've had data corruption before from doing it

just go to Applications -> Utilities -> Disk utility and unmount from there.
