windows phone apps

Postby f.h.2 » Thu Dec 29, 2011 7:29 am

GSMArena :: Microsoft may not be making much progress in terms of device sales at the moment but they seem to be doing quite well when it comes to apps. According to All About Windows Phone, the Windows Phone Marketplace has just crossed the 50,000 app submission with over 50,000 apps already available on the Market right now.

It might not seem all that much in comparison to what iOS and Android have right now but Windows Phone actually managed to reach this milestone a lot faster than Android did, while narrowly being defeated by iOS.

Also, the number is on the incline, with 17,276 apps of the 50,000 being added in the last 90 days itself and 8,010 being added in the last 30 days. At this rate, it won't really take all that long for Windows Phone to catch up with the top two mobile platforms in terms of sheer number of apps. Then again, we all know that just having a large number of apps doesn't mean anything. The quality of apps matters as well. Thankfully for Windows Phone, it has plenty of those as well.
........

what about bada?how many apps does bada have?what about 90 day ago?what about 30 days ago?will bada grow like this?what do you think?

Not satisfied with performance? cant believe it..so far i believe WP7 has very high satisfaction rate and its faster than android(even wp7 single core beats androids dual core ) and par with ios..with WP8 appollo it will compete directly with other platforms..have a look at WP8 leaked features..maybe you have different expectation which lumia that not satisfied with you..

no doubt features were great. but phone was lagging n battery backup suked. showed at service center and after one week they replaced it with new one but it wasn't up to the Mark either. after two weeks I sold it. n from 30k rates of lumia went down to 25k In one half month.
I personally hated Nokia before and this one proved me right again.

After some time my friend told they released firmware update for better battery backup but still I don't regret the decision of selling it. Still got wave2 with me n waiting for a New good android phone release from Samsung. :)
