Now the odd thing is i manage to install it fine at my (XP) PC at work!
@zoolkifli - Check if you have .NET installed along with Active Sync.. apparently they are required for KIES to work.Required software
.Net Framework 3.5 SP1
Windows Media Player 10 or later
ActiveSync(Windows XP), Device Center (Windows Vista)
DirectX 9.0C .Net Framework 3.5 is required for Windows XP(32/64bit), Vista(32/64bit) to install Samsung Kies.http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?FamilyId=333325FD-AE52-4E35-B531-508D977D32A6&displaylang=en
Kies also works on my office pc which has XP SP3 Installed , but it refuses to run on my Home PC.
I've Tried the Installers from UK/US/India ... all end up with the same issue.
Kies does not go beyond the Home Screen , it freezes and does not respond to anything.
Samsung needs to feed KIES some
