No more App Store in Kies?!

ok i found a solution but is not from me and i found it from an other forum.
here it is:
1. install the immediate previous version of kies..(previous to kies ver 2.0.2.11071_128) or whatever version u were working on..b4 updating to "2.0.2.11071_128"
2. go to run -> regedit -> HKEY_CURRENT_USER -> software -> samsung -> Kies2.0(select it)
3. in the right hand window, look for Localver, right click on it, click on modify.
4. replace the whole value with this one "2.0.2.11071_128" (without the quotes)
5. open kies again, go to samsungapps normally, it wont ask u to upgrade to newer version so SAMSUNG FOOLED

I had tried this and realized that im simply NOT getting the update, just pretending to fix it. On another thread, a solution was posted that allows u to update AND get the app store. Here it is posted by Leonheart, coutesy spacks of xda:

The problem with the latest Kies 2.0.2.11071_128 not having the Samsung Apps store is as a result of either a corrupt "AStorePlugin.dll" or a wrong value assigned to this dll. The problem is only with the "AStorePlugin.dll".
To solve this problem, simply install the latest kies (either as a fresh install or an update over existing kies instalation. Restart PC.
1. Now go to Program Files\SAMSUNG\Kies\Plugins\AStore...
(a) inside the AStore folder, replace the "AStorePlugin.dll" with the one from the download link below (or from any previous kies installation)
NOTE: ONLY REPLACE the "AStorePlugin.dll" of size approx 4,014kb.
(Don't replace the small one of size about 4kb).

3. That's all. Now you can enjoy your new Kies 2.0.2.11071_128.

I did this and got my app store back with the new firmware unfooled. Only concern now is that the app store we get in this solution doesnt have the new UI that I saw in some pics on the other thread. We keep the same one. No biggie tho....for now atleast lol. Hope this helps u as much as it helped me. =]

hey man i knew it already but then also i tried it again ..... samsung app store have also appeared but the problem is it says "samsung app store cannot be run ry again later". Now u tell what to do ..... i am sick of this message cu it is appearing since around 2nd of January 2012 ..... PLz helP

Hey guys....just got new update of samsung kies and volla!!! app store started working!!!!!
Update is 2.1.1.11124_17...just released.....

samsh!t have update the app store problem with hotfix just open your kies and there will be update popup for only app store Update it

1. install latest Kies from Samsung website which is "Kies_2.1.1.11124_17_6"
2. when installation finish uncheck "Run Kies" and click OK
3.Go in Regedit and edit there US to GB or IN (i placed there GB)
4.Now open kies and you'll see an Popup window with message like "hotfix for only appstore" (i don't remember now) click on update and your Kies prog will restart after update now chose your country and get into app store

Note: in whole this proses my wave s8530 was connected all the time

@armada thank you man... but i have another problem to samsung apps icon is not showing in the latest Kies? you know anything about this issue?

anyways!!! to get the appstore icon just follow this path Run>Regedit>HKEY_CURRENT_USER>Software>Sumsung>Kies2.0 Now click modify on Region and change there in value data US to GB then click ok and close the registry editor

Now open kies there surly will be Appstore icona

Note: if you are on Mac then i cannot help you sorry
