I've been trying to flash my S8500 with S8500XXJEC/S8500XEUJEC so as to get updates through kies however during download in 'Downloader V5.64' it stopped with the message "Can not open FFS !".
I'm unable to download S8500XXJEC/S8500XEUJEC from 'multiupload' as it appears the US government have stopped it.
Any suggestions gratfully recieved.
Cannot open FFS!

Try to use Multiloader v.5.65. Or try extracting the downloaded zip file again.

Thanks adi4u, tried that didn't work however I've downloaded the the required files from gsm site and alls good now bada 1.2 via kies at last 
just waiting for 2.0 now....makes a coffee....hmmm still waiting
