Savesung Wave GT-S8500 firmware upgrade

Hi all,

am new to the forum and also to the wave.
recently i bought a wave in Malaysia and using it in India i have recently installed kies 2.0 and when i try to upgrade my phones firmware the kies shows a newer version of firmware available and when i hit the upgrade button either the kies application stops functioning or the firmware process runs upto 100% and than says unknown error occured firmware upgrade not successful.

and i have another doubt if i upgrade the firmware will i be upgrading the bada also currently on my wave i have bada1.0.

my firmware version is 1008061642_LIS_S8500DXJH1_M


any help is highly appreciated.

Hi Sriram,

am not that much techie so, is there any easiest way to flash the mobile,
the manual flashing method that was posted in the forum looks a bit complicated the method of doing it by multiuploader..
if any other method is available please advise me.

I dont think, there are any other method to flash other tahn using Multi loader.

its ease, watch the video and go along step by step with that and im definitely sure that u can get it!!!

PPl i need ur help down here !!! i flashed my wave s8500 with BADA 2.0..and its got many bugs..so now i want to downgrade it to 1.2.. So can anyone pls help me by posting a link from where i can download 1.2.. i need the indian version!!... I'd really appreciate ur help !!!
