Google Maps 3.0.2 for Samsung Wave (Java)

The new version of Google Maps is available for your Samsung Wave, the resolution has been fixed to 800x480, so it will look a lot better, but still no multi-touch support, but you can now use Street View (A bit blurry but it works).

For those receiving the message: "Same version installed", just proceed and install, it fixes a few bugs and glitches that are present in version 3.0.

Okay I installed it, and it opened up, but how do I do an uninstall of the program if I want and how do I even access the program?

The widget still uses a link to the google maps and the java version above does not show in my applications section. I rather uninstall this completely until a proper program is made and signed.

Just go to Games and More, all Java Applications go there.

Is an internet connection needed for this ? Or is it stored in the phone like with LBS? or does it use GPS?

The predownloaded maps are kept in Phone memory and yes, it uses GPS.

GREAT! This could be the Samsung LBS and be very useful when i remove my data plan ! Is it safe? Also any bugs or issues?

I'd recommend keeping your Data Plan, but you can use Wifi to download maps, which will be cached.

Street View Included too with navigation (No voice).

I'm only going to be using Wi-Fi atleast until I can find a cheaper data plan in Canada, is this safe though? Did you make it or was it made by google? Could you link me to the original poster if it wasn't you?
