Burn-in is already affecting it. It just shows how short life SAMOLED has. Though that's normal :herb

I've mine set at brightness 4 since July, and I'm yet to see any burn-in. Quite a lot of people have said they haven't seen the burn-in in their phone. What does this mean? Are only some phones susceptible to burn-in, (possibly manufacturing defect?) or does keeping brightness at a lower value effect burn-in?

Of course that brightness level affects amount of burn in shadow. Now just for my little experiment I removed Call, Contacts and Massage icons from the bottom of the screen to see will their shadow disappear after longer period of time. :?:

But at least they should allow us to change the G, E, or 3G icons on the status bar so that the static blue color display on that area can be replaced by another color to avoid burn-ins.

Seems like it's easier to them to replace few displays than to develop such feature :eyes

Will they replace the screen with a new one if the user is not satisfied or irritated by the burn in?

I don't really think so. Im not sure it its part of the warranty. But I guess it should be. They should manufacture a screen that can at least withstand 1 year normal usage of the screen. It maybe depends on the store you are buying.
