Angry Birds and Asphalt 6 on Bada!

So I guess Samsung finally got Angry Birds and Asphalt 6 to come to bada. This following video, made by our user tanvip99999, shows us some brief footage of both the games. These games are ONLY available on bada 2.0, so a lot of us won’t be able to play them right now. Whereas people with betas can enjoy these games for absolutely free.

Timelapse App Review

You probably once saw a movie where the story skipped a few day’s and then they showed fast moving could’s and a sun. Well I don’t know about you but I always wondered how do they make that effect.  (little explanation): They just take pictures every few seconds or minutes.  Then they put all those pictures together and show them at a 20 or higher frame-rate (basic of fluid moving video).  Well like  a company would say that i’m not going to name THERE IS AN APP FOR THAT!!!  This app is called, make a guess: TimeLapse.  Timelapse is an app which is simple to use.  Thanks to the nice GUI.  You can control everything interval between frames, frames cap for when you don’t want to wait at your phone wile you are taking your epic timelapse.

There is one “problem” with this app.  When you wan’t to save your timelapse  on your phone memory it will be coded in a format that your phone ins’t able to playback.  This is a small problem, it isn’t the developer his  fault but it’s something with the encoder’s and other things that where not allowed by the Samsungapps certification team.  Ill just look over that small problem cause its an epic app.

I give this app a 4.5/5    so that means  its a must get app.

And Thanks To the Developer for all of the coupon codes. To see the codes, just click read more.

“Simply Weather” and “BBC” Widgets

‘lo and behold, another review!

Hey guys, just wanted to go over these two widgets that I believe, are useful on a daily basis. If you like the news (BBC to be exact) and knowing what the local / 5 day predicted forecast is just so you don’t wear jeans on a boiling day just because the morning is a bit chilly, you might want to read on a bit more.

Main screen with the widgets

Let’s start off with the BBC widget shall we? It was free, it is free and hopefully it will stay free. Sure there is the AP (Associated Press) widget out, though seeing as how that’s a stock app, there’s nothing much to go over on that one. Here, we see the main screen with the two widgets I’ll be going over, seeing as how we’re talking about the BBC one, I’ll just keep on with that for the time being. As you can see, you can choose either for the regular news, or if you like sports you can choose that respectively! Personally, I’m not much of a fan so I’d have liked it if they could let you snip off either the News or Sport tabs to add to unused screen estate for another widget not to have to be on another screen but anyway, really that’s the only bad thing I can say about this I suppose.

Headline page for BBC widget

Putting aside my whimsical dreams, let’s get down to the meat of the app, as you can see, there are the latest pieces of news shown on the page at hand with 5 buttons to choose from:

Top right: ‘home’ button will take you to the BBC’s main mobile site so you can see the other headlines there if you wish.

Refresh: As one may guess, this re-loads the widget to pull the data and see for any updates.

Categories: Looking for something specific? Tap there and choose what you want! The stories may not be the latest but hey, at least you’ll be informed of what section you choose to get rid of the stuff you don’t want to see.
