Samsung Apps Recent Update

Samsung Apps allows you to simply and easily download an abundance of applications to your phone. Samsung Apps, the open market place that connects developers and buyers, has updated its app submission process, making uploading an app more convenient and efficient.

Samsung Apps has also expanded its global distribution coverage, increasing earning opportunities for developers worldwide. Check out the new app registration process below and share your work with Samsung Mobile users in 125 countries around the world.

1. Submitting an app to Samsung Apps will now generate a list of recommended compatible devices
- You don’t need to add apps one by one for each device/resolution any more.
Multiple devices from the recommendation list can be registered at any one time.
- Compatible OS: bada, Android
- Recommendations based on: Resolution, API Level, and other conditions for
additional device classification

2. Samsung Apps upgraded global coverage equals increased earning opportunities
- Samsung Apps coverage has expanded into 125 countries.
Newly added: Kyrgyzstan, Mongolia
- Paid app distribution now expanded (56 -> 64 countries)
Newly added: Belarus, Peru, Tunisia, Jordan, Kenya, Kuwait, Qatar, and Egypt

3. New App Category
- We’ve added a ‘Sports’ category to Samsung Apps, to enhance the Samsung Mobile user
experience and allow developers to target sports fans around the world more effectively.

Official Chelsea FC Application for bada

Samsung electronics, a Sponsor of Chelsea Football Club, is delighted to introduce a bada version of the Official Chelsea FC Application.

Samsung has launched the highly anticipated application to ensure fans to enjoy a richer football experience through their smartphones. The application was developed as part of Samsung’s long-standing relationship with Chelsea Football Club.

The free application can be downloaded in 122 countries via www.samsungapps.com and until May 2012, the application will only be available on Samsung Apps exclusively.

Some of the key features include:

  • Live match – text commentary, team line-ups, stats, plus live scores of matches
  • Fixtures – with the ability to allow you to add the fixtures directly to your calendar
  • Results and League table
  • Player profiles

**This application is also available for Android smartphones from Samsung as well.

Samsung Apps – Do you know whats new?

Samsung has introduced its new app store on 19th september 2011, its old news but there are some special features this time samsung has introduced in the new version of samsung apps.

Well, you will not be able to use this app store now, because samsung said that this will be made first available for Samsung Wave Smartphones with bada 2 and spread out globally on samsung galaxy devices worldwide by the end of this year. It means you will have to wait till official bada 2 to use this app store.

If you can not wait, there is already leaked version of bada 2 availabe here in this post. You can download and install this on your samsung wave and use this appstore(while its not fully working).

  • The Shopping List: Ever been to the grocery store and forgot your shopping list or forgot what you needed?? Well now you will never forget another list. The shopping list is a easy and simply way to keep track of what you need to buy. You can add items, add descriptions, add prices, and even photos. This is not a complex app…it does just enough to get the job done. This app is C$ 1.50 in the Samsung Apps.
  • WeatherMapPro: This is a simple weather app that bases the weather right off your GPS coordinates. It supports a ton of locations and gives you quick and easy access to the most important weather data. Sure there are better apps out there but for those who want to just glance at the weather, this is a good app to get. This app is C$ 1.50 in Samsung Apps.
  • SevenStars 3D: Your task is finding the Big Dipper and taking it back to sky. This process is long and difficult. You must help the Big Dipper run away from monsters’ maze but be careful…there’re many bamboo poles and wooden bridges in the maze to set you back. This is just a really cool game and a very addicting one at that! This app is C$ 3.00 in Samsung Apps.
